Advanced Bloodwork for Longevity

A standard blood panel was designed to detect disease that is already present. An advanced longevity panel measures the markers that reveal where your metabolism, cardiovascular system, and inflammatory state are heading — typically years before anything becomes clinical.

Why Choose Bloodwork Testing at Custom Fit?

50+ marker panel

A comprehensive draw covering cardiovascular, metabolic, inflammatory, thyroid, hormonal, and nutritional markers. Single blood draw, processed in less than a week.

Expert-reviewed results.

Every bloodwork panel at Custom Fit is reviewed by a physician or registered dietitian. Results are reviewed in a structured session that contextualizes each marker relative to your goals, current training and nutrition approach, and any other testing data from your Longevity Blueprint assessment.

Integrated interpretation.

Bloodwork results reviewed alongside a DEXA scan and VO₂ max test produce a different and more useful analysis than bloodwork reviewed in isolation. Elevated hsCRP alongside high visceral fat points clearly in one direction. Low ferritin alongside a declining VO₂ max trend points in another. The panel's findings become most actionable when read as part of a complete physiological picture.

What an advanced longevity Blood panel covers

The Custom Fit advanced bloodwork panel covers 50+ markers across six categories. Each one targets a gap left by standard primary care bloodwork.

Why these markers matter for longevity

The distinction between a standard panel and an advanced longevity panel is not simply more tests. It is a different purpose.

Standard panels are calibrated to the statistical norms of a large population — a population that includes significant proportions of sedentary, overweight, and metabolically compromised individuals. A result in the "normal range" confirms that your value is not unusual relative to that group. It does not confirm that your value reflects optimal health or a favorable long-term trajectory.

An advanced longevity panel is calibrated around the variables most strongly associated with how people age. ApoB and Lp(a) because cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death and both outperform standard lipid markers as predictors. Fasting insulin and HOMA-IR because insulin resistance is the upstream driver of type 2 diabetes, much of cardiovascular disease, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease — and it is addressable through training and nutrition at the early stage. hsCRP and homocysteine because chronic inflammation is implicated in every major age-related disease and is modifiable.

These markers do not replace your primary care relationship. They deepen it — providing data your physician can use and that most practices are not resourced to collect proactively.
