I went in for a group class and conducted HITT training and it was great. I was trained by Lucia and she was very knowledgeable and very attentive to my needs.

  • Click "Book Classes" on the homepage.
  • Select your desired class(es).
  • Attend and check in with the instructor.

For New Members:

  • Download our gym app:

Kettlebell Fundamentals

About the trainers

Melissa Yu, CMT. CSCS

I hold a degree in Exercise Biology from UC Davis (2014) and earned my massage license from the San Francisco School of Massage (2017). As a certified massage therapist and NSCA strength & conditioning specialist, I specialize in strength building, mobility, and injury recovery.

I’ve worked with a diverse clientele, from corporate professionals to elite athletes, using soft tissue mobilization and corrective exercises to improve movement and performance. My approach is functional and adaptable, ensuring clients achieve lasting success. Outside of work, I enjoy boxing, watching sports, and high-energy group classes.

With 10 years of experience, I’ve worked in gyms, rehab clinics, athletic training, corporate fitness, and kettlebell specialization. My approach is individualized and data-driven, focusing on movement, strength, and long-term behavior change. I believe in finding the right path for each client, ensuring sustainable progress through testing, tracking, and personalized training—all while keeping it fun!
