The snickerdoodle smoothie is definitely a fun, outside-of-the-box smoothie recipe. It tastes like a dessert, but has a healthy portion of protein, omega-3s and fiber. It’s the perfect post-workout snack or treat to satisfy a sweet tooth!

Snickerdoodle Smoothie

ingredients:

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1-2 tbsp walnut butter (or walnuts)
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (or vanilla bean to taste)
  • Ground cinnamon for garnish

How to cook Snickerdoodle Smoothie

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth. If you want it more chilled, add a few ice cubes and blend again.

NOTES:

If using unflavored protein powder, you may want to add a little raw honey or 100% pure maple syrup for sweetness.
