Adaptogenic Hot Chocolate

ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon Reishi mushroom powder
  • 1 tablespoon Marshmallow root powder
  • 1 tablespoon Maca powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar (optional)
  • vanilla extract to taste

instructions:

How to cook Adaptogenic Hot Chocolate

  1. Add all ingredients with the exception of the vanilla extract in a large bowl. Stir to combine. 
  2. Store in an airtight container.
  3. When ready to enjoy, combine 1 tablespoon of the mixture with warm milk or water. Stir to dissolve the powder and add a drop or two of vanilla extract to taste. Add sweetener of choice if desired. 

NOTES:

Vanilla extract can be swapped out for 1 tsp of vanilla powder added to the dry mixture (step 1). You can also skip the vanilla entirely.
